"My son who participated in your high school entrance exam prep programs is now an incoming junior and signed up for private PSAT prep with your instructor. His PSAT10 (prior to his tutoring sessions) taken in Oct. 2022 was 1340, which was 98%. He completed the prep during spring break of 2023 and took the PSAT10 again (offered by his school) in April. "In 2019, we connected with Test Prep Chicago, by way of Mcdade's Elementary School, to provide tutoring for Selective enrollment Academic Centers for 7 and 8 graders. Then Covid 19 happened, and the public schools were shut down along with the rest of the city. So, no tutoring. The tutoring was paid in full. However, there was no problem with Test Prep Chicago refunding the tuition in the matter of couple days. I greatly appreciated their professionalism which is why her mom and I decided to partner with them on behalf of my granddaughter, once again, who is in 8th grade and was preparing for selective enrollment high schools. We signed up for 8 week sessions on Saturdays. Now, I must say that my granddaughter hated getting up, with a passion, on Saturdays. But she completed the 8 weeks and when she took the High School entrance exam she scored a 99 in ELA and 96 in math. Her mom and I are so proud!! She realized that Test Prep Chicago not only assisted in the teaching of math, vocabulary, reading, spelling and misspelled words but it gave her the opportunity to practice over and over again within the Test Prep classes and assigned homework. Her teacher, Ms. Stovall, is an excellent teacher. Ms. Stovall answered all questions and kept the students updated as well as us. Test Prep Chicago not only reflected what she was doing in her ELA and Math classes but provided opportunities for practice over and over again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this program for 6 and 8 graders. It is WORTH IT!!!”

"I used Test Prep to prepare my son for the CPS & Catholic High School Admissions Test. We had a great experience. The group classes were done onsite after school for several consecutive weeks leading up to the exam. There was weekly homework (about 30 min/day) and the concepts taught in class were challenging. Communication with the tutor and office were exceptional. My son came out of the exam feeling very confident and extremely well prepared.
The results speak for themselves - he is in a great position to be accepted into the high school of his choice. I'm very pleased with Charlie, his tutors and the company itself. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for test prep.”

"My son decided to apply to the academic center very late, only 1 month before he was scheduled to take the gifted exam. Test Prep Chicago was fantastic about accommodating our last minute needs. My son participated in a Test Prep Palooza Workshop to better understand the format of a gifted exam format. We then realized he needed individualized tutoring to be better prepared and more confident for the exam. After a 5 hour package with Sarah, my son's practice tests improved by 20% in most categories; changing from 70 to 90% and 80 to 100%. On the day of the exam, my son felt very prepared and even had spare time to review his answers. We are delighted to report Levi was accepted into Lane Tech's academic center! Sydney felt the course she took with Test Prep Chicago was different and it taught the concepts in class and the homework was used to validate understanding and to practice. "Thank you Test Prep Chicago! Both our middle schoolers worked with Test Prep Chicago for the high school entrance tests. Two years’ ago, our son scored high enough to obtain admission to Walter Payton and the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools (where he now attends high school). Our daughter is now going through the process. Thus far, she scored 99/99 on her CPS NWEA MAP tests and amazingly high on her ISEE (scoring in the 9th stanine for reading, verbal reasoning, and math achievement, and in the 7th stanine for quantitative reasoning). Of course, we now have to wait to see how she did on the Selective Enrollment Test and where she is admitted, but our Test Prep Chicago tutor did an amazing job with both our kids, and Charlie was great about providing a consistent tutor, being extremely responsive to emails, and answering all of our questions in a very helpful and timely way. He was accepted to St. Ignatius, the IB Program at Lincoln Park High School, the Double Honors Program at Lincoln Park, and Walter Payton High School for Selective Enrollment.
Your course was a very important part of the process and a significant factor in his strong performance on the entrance exams. The program you ran was terrific for my son as it refreshed and reinforced what he had been taught in school and introduced him to testing methods/tools he otherwise would not have known for the exams. Beyond these benefits, the size of the classes and the personal attention you both provided to him was extremely helpful in focusing his efforts and making the process less painful.
